Biodiversity Restoration and Carbon Sequestration

 A central component of our project's environmental stewardship strategy is the Tree Planting Program, designed to restore biodiversity, combat deforestation, and offset the environmental impacts of mining operations. This initiative focuses on planting native, fast-growing tree species that are well-suited to the local ecosystem, ensuring a high survival rate and ecological compatibility. By integrating the program into both the operational phase and the post-closure phase of the mine, the company guarantees that environmental restoration begins early, rather than being delayed until after production ends. This proactive approach not only minimizes the ecological footprint of mining but also strengthens climate resilience through carbon sequestration and soil stabilization, contributing to the fight against global climate change.

The implementation of the program will follow a structured process.
